A Conference We Couldn't Refuse
I was asked to go to SopranosCon last month and originally thought it would be a not-well-attended huge waste of time.
After going, I can argue whether or not it would be a waste of your time, but the fact that Italians came out in droves in undeniable... It's as if the ghost of Gandolfini sent up some Italian bat-signal, and thousands of paisans instinctively flocked to it like greasy moths to a flame.
I was there as a guest of $20 Chef and also Glenny Balls... Who played the part of jumpsuit-wearing fanboy better than I could've ever imagined.
There's some singing, some competitive cannoli eating, some old familiar faces... And one Asian guy in the back, who seemed extremely confused.
Check it out and take a report.
