The Sea Cucumber is nothing pretty to look at, but the ocean floor dwelling invertebrate is being scooped up from the depths at an insane rate due to it's perceived medicinal properties. If you have arthritis, frequent urination, or even full-blown cancer ... this bottom feeder is believed to help.
Sea Cucumbers can be cooked and presented in a dish that makes them taste edible. Boiling them in water and serving them plain makes them taste like a salted rubber tire, at least that's the consensus at Barstool HQ.
Until a few weeks ago I didn't know the Sea Cucumber was edible, all I knew was The Wildboyz jerked them off on MTV back in the 2000's
