"He's Got A Lot Of Female Tendencies On The Court...He's Soft, Very Woman-Like" - Marcus Morris On Jae Crowder Before Tweeting The Quickest Apology Ever

Oh, cool. Just when I was starting to have fun as a Knicks fan tonight with tomfoolery on the court, off the court, and in the stands, we have the Knicks number 1 trade chip dropping quotes about women being soft that is definitely going to fire up a group of people that just watched one of their least favorite people announce that he is filthy rich. A week before the trade deadline no less! The NBA trade deadline is somewhere in the Top 5 days as a Knicks fan along with Lottery Day (which the Knicks always lose), Draft Day (which the Knicks always fuck up), Free Agency Opening Day (which the Knicks always strike out on), and Opening Night (Usually the high water mark of the season). So I have no choice but to preemptively declare this deadline a total loss because Marcus Morris had to say women and Jae Crowder constantly walk around like Ashley Banks when she's dancing.

Now to Marcus' credit, he apologized for his comments in record time. Like I think he made one of those dust clouds like The Roadrunner does when he's trying to avoid getting eaten by that idiot coyote. I don't think the media had even left the locker room by the time Mook apologized.

I don't know what will come out of this nonsense in the year 2020. But based on that quick retraction to clean up his mess, I think at the very least Marcus has a future running the Knicks Twitter handle once he decides to hang up his basketball shoes.

Also while I am here, I would like to put myself on the record for Women Are Super Duper Strong And Definitely Not Soft and I'm not just saying that because I've seen my wife go through pregnancy and childbirth twice as well as having the most badass CEO on the planet who just so happens to be a woman. But those things sure as shit didn't hurt me landing at that conclusion.
