It Was 1975. I Was 19, Out of Control, & Living in South Florida With My Friend Moose...

Giphy Images.

I posted the first blog entry about this time in my life (1975) on January 20, 2022, and followed it up six days later with part two.

I got a great reaction to it; some even bugged me to keep it going, but I decided it wasn't time…

Then, on March 14, 2024, I wrote We Smoked Weed & Sipped Bloody Marys Before Listening to Crazy Phil’s Bizarro Wisdom… about our next-door neighbor, Phil, on my phone in the middle of the night while I was trying to sleep on a short, narrow couch next to my wife at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, where I've written a lot of my blogs over the last year…

At the time, I had no intention of continuing the series. But I enjoyed writing that blog entry so much I decided to do it, and I'm glad I did.

While I'm busy writing the finale, I decided to post all the chapters to date so anybody who wants to can catch up. It's an easy read.

I'm not sure if anybody has ever written a book on the Barstool blog before…

God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in his shoes
Cause then you really might know what it's like to sing the blues
Then you really might know what it's like (what it's like)

Then you really might know what it's like (what it's like)
