There Are ZERO Problems With Julius Randle Saying His Thumbs Down To Fans At MSG Were For Them To 'Shut The Fuck Up'

Zero. Problems. The man was getting booed EARLY in the game. He's the reason the Knicks started the comeback before Fournier went nuclear and RJ won it. He's the face of this franchise right now. I don't care if he gets pissed at fans, gives them a thumbs down while he's playing out his mind again and says it's for them to 'shut the fuck up.' Good. Whatever it takes for Julius to stay locked in. If that's getting pissed and going thumbs down, so be it. If it's him saying it's for them to shut the fuck up, well, he's fully embraced being in New York. Either way that's a win-win. 

This isn't a Mets situation either. I won't speak too much on that since I'm not a Mets fan, but Randle came to the Knicks, took us to the playoffs and became an All-Star. That dude deserves praise from fans. I know we want him to be last year's Julius. He was that tonight. He's fine. Just let it go. Be more upset at Thibs for rotations than anything else. I don't give a shit if Randle is upset with the fans in the moment. Good. He cares. I know it's a bit different than him saying he doesn't give a shit what people say, but the man cares about winning and the Knicks. Fine by me. Give me that sort of competitor every day of the week. 

Put me in camp Julius because I'm an adult. I won't be screaming for Obi to replace Julius. Play them together more. I won't be booing Julius out here before the All-Star break the year after he helped make the franchise win again. Disagree with that? Well, shut the fuck up.
