HBO And The NFL Are Doing An In-Season Hard Knocks With The Colts

Very cool idea and I dig this a lot. I know a lot of the questions will be about how they allow so much access to a team in-season as opposed to when it's a meaningless pre-season, but in this year 2021 there are so many cameras around anyway all the time that I don't think it'll make too much of a difference to the players. And I'm sure HBO will tread very carefully with what actually makes the air- Colts fans shouldn't have to worry too much about game plans being leaked or what have you.

But the entire concept of an in-season Hard Knocks interests me a lot. We've seen how teams and players prepare for game 3 of the pre-season, now we get to see what happens after the cuts are made. An entire new dynamic and story lines we haven't had this sort of access to before. I grew tired of the old Hard Knocks, you can only follow a walk-on so many times before it gets sort of redundant, this should spark interest in the series once again, at least for me. So suffice to say I'm looking forward to this, and I don't look forward to much of anything.
