Movie Trailer Roundup - Wes Anderson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rob Ford And More

1. The French Dispatch

(Full Blog Here) "Ha! Just absolutely insane, nothing else to say. Wes Anderson just looks at his casting director(s) and goes, 'I want 75% of Hollywood in this movie and I want them now.'"

2. The Green Knight

(Full blog here)  It stars Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire), Alicia Vikander (Tomb Raider), Joel Edgerton (Warrior), Sean Harris (Mission: Impossible - Fallout), Sarita Choudhury (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay) and Kate Dickie (Game of Thrones). David Lowery (A Ghost Story) wrote and directed. This comes out May 29th.

3. The Batman (Screen Test)

(Full Blog Here) "Buncha people seem to think the janky lookin' Bat symbol on Bruce Wayne's chest may be janky lookin' because it's made outta the gun used to kill his parents! You see it? Like if the gun was split in half down the barrel and the handle was used on each side?"

4. The Iron Mask

(Full blog here) To be frank, I don't understand what the FUCK is going on in this trailer. It's some sort of take on the Man in the Iron mask story, but now they're in China? Jackie Chan is in the Tower of London? Who cares, I'm so fucking in on this movie.

5. Run this Town

I feel like I've been hearing about this movie for 2 years now. And by hearing about it, I mean I mean obsessivly searching for pictures of Damian Lewis as Rob Ford.

Captain Winters, is that really you??? I don't remember reading much about the plot or even seeing a title for the film when these set photos dropped. But apparantly, it's a journo movie about the last year of Rob Ford's mayorship of Toronto. As a Journalist myself (I'm flying down to Costa Rica to cover NYCFC tomorrow, not to brag) I can't help but be interested. It stars Ben Platt (The Politician), Mena Massoud (Aladdin) and Nina Dobrev (Flatliners). Ricky Tollman directed and wrote. The release date is March 6th.
