If The Jacksonville Jaguars Have Any Common Decency, They'll Send Jalen Ramsey Over To Philly

Kansas City Chiefs v Jacksonville Jaguars

I think we all understand that the NFL is a business. But even in a cut throat business like the National Football League, it’s important to show some level of basic decency and human behavior. It’s the exact type of decency that the Eagles displayed over the offseason when they allowed Nick Foles to hit the free agency market and head down to Jacksonville. The Eagles could have kept him on as the greatest backup quarterback the game has ever seen. But they knew that he wanted to be a starter somewhere and after all that Nick Foles had done for this organization, they set him free and Jacksonville was there to reap the rewards of Philly’s good deed. Now obviously the Nick Foles era has been put on hold in Jacksonville after he broke his collarbone but that’s not the point I’m trying to make here. The point is that the Philadelphia Eagles did Nick Foles and Jacksonville both a favor, and now it’s time for Jacksonville to return that favor to Philly in the form of Jalen Ramsey.

Outside of the common decency aspect here, it just makes total sense. The Eagles desperately need help at corner. Jalen Ramsey desperately wants out of Jacksonville. They’re not in the same division. They’re not even in the same conference. And when Jalen Ramsey went on that tirade last year and ended up sewering about 85% of the quarterbacks in the league, guess what he had to say about Carson Wentz? That Carson is going to be an MVP candidate for the next 5-10 years. Dude was shitting on pretty much everybody out there but didn’t have a single bad word to say about Carson. Also–we know that Jalen Ramsey has said that he could make it to the NHL if you gave him just 6 months to train, so why not send him to a city that has an NHL team? We also know that he played lacrosse in high school for at least a year, so why not send him to a city that has a professional lacrosse team and is also hosting the PLL Championship this weekend? Trade him to Philly tomorrow, he’ll be able to watch the PLL Championship on Saturday, and then he’ll be able to pick Matt Stafford off twice on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field. It literally makes the most amount of sense that any potential NFL trade could ever make. So the only thing holding up this deal would be the Jacksonville Jaguars being a bunch of deplorable and spiteful individuals who only think/care about themselves. Your call, Jacksonville. If that’s how you want to be then that’s fine. But just know that the whole world thinks that Jalen Ramsey was born to play in Philadelphia, and that you’re a bunch of heathens if you prevent that from happening.

Do the thing, Howie. Do it now.
