9/11- Large's Reflection

I wrote this blog 8 years ago... Morning. A number of readers have asked me to share my recollection of 9/11.  It does not differ from stories you have probably read before, and it's kind of long, but here it is, nonetheless. To get right to it, on Tuesday, September 11th, 2001, I was sitting at my

Dante is Right.... The rumors are true... I had sex with a Barstool podcaster.

It has come to my attention that one of the young ladies in the Barstool Vegas Spring Break Beach House In The Desert has been implicated in an affair with a married co-worker. And I have also been alerted that one of the senior members of the 'free-vacation crew' has thrown my name into the ring as

FRIDAY CONFESSIONS

Dante and I alternate Fridays letting deprived Stoolies get shit off their chests.  This blog series is simply for confessions (and clicks). I'll go first. I'm addicted to police body-cam footage of shoplifters being caught… I was watching a 26-minute compilation of them on Wednesday night while I w

Sorry, Dave, But For The Next 24 Hours, The Best Pizza IN THE WORLD Is In Westchester

I am going to start this very short blog with a very long run-on sentence… There is a restaurant called Pizzeria Baci (which I have never been to) that is located in the town of Montrose, NY (which I have never visited), and for the 27 hours between 4 PM on Saturday, Feb 6th, and 7 PM on Sunday, Feb

Here are the two hottest things to come out of Brazil.

Even though I have never been there, I happen to know a LOT about Brazil.  First off, Brazil is very big. Secondly, they love futbol. They also have more gold medals than anyone else in Beach Volleyball… Which is the only Olympic sport I watch… Normally, in a dark room with the sound off. Brazil is

Reflections From The Great Blizzard Of ‘26

I spent even more time than normal indoors last weekend because of the winter storm that tore across the country, and it gave me time to make a few observations… 1) Men love to lie about length.   This isn't a new revelation because I myself have been known to embellish on the size of that fish I ju

A Whole Lotta Liotta

Call me weird, but I’ve always been fascinated with who celebrities have fucked. Kids nowadays talk about “body counts," but the sexual exploits of mere non-celebrity mortals have never piqued my interest… It’s the “knock list” of celebrities (normally ones that I otherwise don't give a shit about)

Twisted History

Twisted History is a petulant and irreverent look at the darker side of history hosted by two guys (Large and Vibbs) who had to look up the words “petulant” and “irreverent”. It’s been called a "delightful romp through the annals of murder and mayhem” by Large’s wife, and the series aims to entertain by shedding light onto some of the weirder skeletons that reside within the closets of History, Sports, Music, Politics, and Celebrity. Presented by Barstool Sports.

How To Maken Irishman Cream

I posted this video for the past six Christmases, from the archives of the now-defunct BarstoolGOLD page, which was universally loved by everyone who enjoyed paying for content. So now… Thanks to me… Fat drunks who never coughed up the dough for GOLD and are asking for the recipe again can see it h

Ken Burns Visits Barstool HQ

(Producer John) The legendary filmmaker visited Barstool HQ in New York City to promote his latest project, and proceeded to clown on Klemmer for being a Jets fan, steal Large's wife, and drop history knowledge like a poet. The entire interview is worth a listen, as Burns explains how his strenuous

Boot Ennis Is Set To FEAST On The Super-Welterweight Division

I sat on this interview for about a week in order to publish it closer to a super welterweight matchup that is taking place this weekend. A matchup that will set the table for the biggest fight in that division sometime early next year. On Saturday night, Virgil Ortiz Jr (23-0 w/ 21 KOs) headlines a

1950: The Golden Age of Twisted History

(excerpt from twisted history podcast) " ...What was it like being an American in 1950? The cost of living was significantly lower, with a new car averaging around $1,500, a house costing about $15,000, and everyday items like a gallon of gas at $0.27, a loaf of bread at $0.14, and a movie ticket fo

We Saw 'The Fight of the Year' Last Weekend and A Couple of Superstars Fighting In Times Square Tomorrow

It's been a GREAT couple of weeks for boxing fans.  Last Saturday, two "sons of British boxing legends " met at the Tottenham Hotspur Arena when Chris Eubanks Jr. took on Conor Benn in front of a sold-out crowd in an iconic football stadium.  There was drama at the presser after Eubanks smashed an e
