I sat down with Biggest Loser trainer Erica Lugo to talk about her insane journey from being someone who was heavy enough to be a contestant on the Biggest Loser to being an actual trainer on the Biggest Loser. I know some people get rubbed the wrong way by some of the super hardo gym heads out there but she's the farthest thing from that. She was a mother who was extremely overweight and realized she had to make a change for herself and her family and completely organically lost 150 pounds, became a personal trainer, beat cancer and became a trainer on one of the biggest, longest running TV shows in the last 15 years. Super hero type shit.
True story: I wouldn't have lost the weight I have without Erica Lugo. The first workout I did on April 6th was one I got from her instagram called the "100 Leg Challenge" and I've done numerous of the workouts she's posted on her instagram (@ericafitlove).
She's a massive inspiration to myself and so many people all over the country as well as being super relatable when it comes to fitness content and one of the genuinely nicest people I've ever spoken too.
