How Steven Cheah Won Me A Chinese Super Bowl
Steven Cheah is a very polarizing character. You’re either a a proud member of the #CHEANIACS or the #CHEAHive and think he’s a genius football savant. Or you think he’s just a loser football nerd with a disturbing obsession with the Bucs and a brain filled with useless stats. I for one, will be a #CHEANSMOKER till the day I die because if it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have this beautiful looking Chinese Super Bowl ring that I wear to my friend’s wedding to steal the spotlight from the bride and groom.
Back in 2017, I gave Cheah a hard drive with footage of our opponents last 4 games and told him he needed to analyze it and breakdown our keys to victory over Christmas break. So instead of opening presents with his family Christmas morning, he was watching Chinese football tapes. That is true dedication to the game. And lo and behold, every single thing he told me in our film session came true and led directly to us winning the Super Bowl. The Titan’s center got one of the worst cases of YIPS I’ve ever scene in the world of Sports. I’m assuming he burst into tears once he found out I’d be making a documentary about that game.
