Paul Rabil vs. Julian Edelman: A Debate on Who Is the True Thirst Trap King

On today's Pardon My Take... PAUL RABIL! The co-founder and player for the Premier Lacrosse League joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter today to discuss all things lax. The Waterdogs are off to a solid start in the 2021 season, how PMT is growing the game, finalizing the details of getting me on the call for a game, and much more. The guys also led off the show with a little debate: who is the king of thirst traps? Is it the aforementioned Rabil, or another recurring guest in Julian Edelman? Here is how they broke it down on today's episode:

Paul Rabil: So, I'm going to start with thanking you all from over a year ago, we did our first interview, you advised me to grow the sport by showing a dick pic. And I didn't do that, but I got close to it a couple of weeks ago. It was my most engaged with post.

Mr. Cat: Wait, no, I don't like what you're doing. I don't like what you're doing right now, because you're actually getting in front of the story that was topic number three that I had. Paul Rabil is now officially, officially, Julian Edelman not only retired from the NFL, he retired from being the thirst trap king. You are now the thirst trap king. You are addicted to taking pictures and videos with your shirt off.

Paul Rabil: You think? That many times?

Mr. Cat: Yeah. Dude, this video, we got to put it up there, but this video of you in the locker room after your first game, when everyone else is wearing their shorts and you're in your underwear, I cringed for you.

Paul Rabil: Spandex.

Mr. Cat: It was bad.

Mr. Commenter: No, you're wearing underwear, and I think you're wearing, is it a sports bra?

Paul Rabil: I didn't see that taking over. I was trying to figure out whether or not to post it, because you could see...

Mr. Cat: No. The answer is no.

Paul Rabil: ... the mushroom shape of my penis.

Mr. Cat: it's the fact that everyone else had their shorts on and you're like, "Oh, wait guys. We're going to do a quick video? Let me whip my shorts off."

Mr. Commenter: And I'm going to give out the game balls in my underwear.

Paul Rabil: I've been playing this game for 25 years, and it's a quirk of mine. As soon as the game's over, I take everything off because I'm just sweaty and I want to be done with it. So, those who have played with me know that that wasn't a thirst trap move.

So, Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter have decided that Paul Rabil is the new king of thirst traps, taking the title from Julian Edelman. Do you agree? It is a fascinating debate.

Also, some exciting news that we broke later on during today's show - I will officially be calling a PLL doubleheader on Saturday, July 31st on Peacock. Leading off, it's the Archers vs. Redwoods, with Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter's Waterdogs taking on the defending champion Whipsnakes in the second game.

I can't thank Big Cat, PFT, and Paul Rabil enough for going to bat for me and trying very hard to help make this happen. It is going to be a lot of fun and hopefully you can all tune in.
