Busting A Tournament Stinks, But It's Nice When Your Best Friend Is There To Show Support

Today I fired a bullet at the Borgata Summer Poker Open main event. A little $2700 donk fest that’ll have a couple hundred thousand for first. Not bad for a few day’s work. 30,000 starting stack, 1 hour levels. Kinda my wheelhouse to be honest. Andddd it did not go well. It did not go well at all, mi amigos. I won 3 hands all day. 3! Funny enough, all 3 were with AQ. But I ultimately met my demise when I jammed the SB over a button open after I looked down at an ace, and the BB woke up with AQ. I had worse than AQ, and that was all she wrote. But you know what is better than winning a poker tournament? You guessed it…friendship.

He was there, watching me, supporting me. Even when my chipstack was dwindling, he never gave up hope.

But unfortunately it was not meant to be. That’s ok though because when you’re with your pals, life is good.

Thanks to Smitty, I have a great attitude and though I am not $200k richer, I am still more wealthy because you can’t put a price on friendship.
