Credit To The New York Daily News For Sticking To The Facts In This Odell Beckham Brown Cigarette Story

(NYDN) – Odell Beckham appears to be enjoying the offseason — maybe a little too much.

In a video that went viral Friday that will likely make the Giants front office and fans cringe, the star wide receiver is seen relaxing in bed with what appears to be a suspicious thick brown cigarette in his left hand and a pizza box on top of the sheets.

As the camera pans, a woman is seen lying next to him holding a credit card in front of what looks to be a white substance.

In the audio of the brief clip, Beckham is heard talking to the woman about “trying to get you to sleep with someone…”

I don’t understand what everyone is freaking out about here. The New York Daily News hit the nail right on the head with this one. They didn’t need to sensationalize the story to sell papers, they kept it with the facts and the facts only. Odell Beckham? Yup, you bet that’s him. 1 for 1. He’s in a bed lying down next to a woman? Sure is, friend. This truth train is really chugging along now. Brown cigarette in hand? A suspiciously thick one at that.

Last I checked (I’ve never checked) there is no rule about brown cigarettes being banned by the NFL. Odell, a man of the cloth, isn’t even about to engage in premarital sex here. He’s trying to get those heathens that partake in white substances away from him and his Bible study group so that they can continue to burn their incense via suspicious brown cigarettes and bask in the word of the most high. So credit where credit is due to the New York Daily News, keeping the facts at the forefront of Journalistic integrity in today’s hot take, clickbait world.
