NFL insiders realizing that the future for scoops isn’t Twitter or Instagram or Snapchat or even Flight Tracker like the good old days but instead on Facebook where the news drops somewhere in between the millions of baby pictures, Russian bots, and political commentary posts that change nobody’s mind:

Biiiiiiig news coming out of the Pacific Northwest today. First Michael Bennett gets traded to Philly and now Richard Sherman’s mom says his time in Seattle is over. I’m still waiting for confirmation to this report from Pete Carroll’s nephew or Earl Thomas’ nana. But I am sticking by this story because I trust my sources*.

Where will Richard end up? It’s hard to say. Maybe the Niners? They are a team on the rise, Sherman played college football at nearby Stanford, and I’m sure he would love to face his former team twice a year. But that’s just me connecting dots. I imagine Beverly will let us know Richard’s preferred destinations when the time is right.
