95-Year-Old Hockey Player Is A True Beer League Hero

This isn’t the first time the world has been introduced to 95-year-old Mark Sertich. But the ol’ geezer has been getting some more play recently and who knows how many more shifts he has in the tank so I’ll be damned if I don’t throw some stick taps his way as well.

95-years-old and the man is crushing daily workouts.

I’m being serious. I bet if you showed up to HQ right now and asked everybody in that office to bust out some push-ups and crunches, Mark Sertich is in better shape than at least a few of them. And he’s 95. I doubt I’ll even be alive at 95 let alone working out every day just to get myself loose and limber for the rest of the day. You ever seen old people walk in public? It’s depressing as anything. Their backs are hunched, their slow as shit, it looks miserable. But Mark Sertich is getting yoked before heading out to the rink to sauce on some fools at least 3 times per week.

Gains the blueline with control of the puck. Moves the puck, cycles behind and if I had to take a guess, I’m assuming this play ended up with Mark parking his ass in front of the net and putting away a nice greasy goal on the backdoor. He’s been playing hockey for 85 years. He knows a thing or two about where to get himself on the ice.

95 and still lacin’ them up on a regular basis. That my friend isn’t just a Beer League Hero. Mark Sertich is a Beer League Legend and we can only aspire to be on the same beauty status as him one day.
