Jets Draftee Jordan Leggett Asked to be Photoshopped Into a Pats Uniform
Jordan Leggett is the tight end out of Clemson the Jets drafted in the fifth round (No. 150th overall). A fair pickup fo them. Even if he did pick up the nickname “Lazy Leggett” for his state worker-like effort issues at times, he’s a size/speed guy who could be a good value pick for them.
And no matter what else the scouts say about Leggett, you have to give him huge points for understanding what it means to be with the J-E-T-E Jets. For some guys drafted by Gang Green, it takes years to understand how unfortunate you are. Some guys never get it. But Leggett wasn’t a Jet for 48 hours before he fully grasped his plight and started dreaming of a world where he might someday have a chance to win the AFC East and compete for championships every year.
I guess it’s worth noting that Leggett deleted the Tweet and said it was a typo and he meant to say “Jets.” But Freud would point out that there are no mistakes. And that every typo is a wish. Well far be it for me to deny this bright young man his wish. Just because my photoshop skills are limited to cropping rectangles is no excuse not to give Jordan Leggett so he can dream of what might have been.
