Fire Burns Down Historic Younkers Building In Downtown Des Moines

Crazy shit.  That video and those pictures are unbelievable.  Jaw dropping stuff.  Thankfully the building was empty because it was being renovated so there weren’t any injuries and no firefighters were hurt while putting it out.  Since the place was under construction it didn’t have a working sprinkler system so there was nothing stopping the fire once it started.  This is yet another example why firefighters are some of the bravest people in the world.  The cause of the fire is still being looked into.
