Merrimack College Homecoming Football Game Ends In Massive Brawl During Handshake Lines

ANDOVER, Mass. - Merrimack College’s homecoming football game turned ugly after the whistle this weekend.

As the Merrimack and Southern Connecticut players were shaking hands, a Merrimack spokesperson says some began pushing and shoving and it escalated into a brawl until it was eventually broken up.

There were no arrests and apparently no injures, but from the video below, you can see it got pretty ugly.

A spokesperson for Merrimack said the school would have no comment and Southern Connecticut has not yet responded to a request for comment.

As reported by Viral yesterday - the Merrimack College Homecoming game seemed like a great, fun time all around full of sportsmanship and friendly competition.

Also you’re going to want to make sure you have your headphones on for this one – I know there’s a lot of chaos and it’s tough to follow with just your eyes so you absolutely need to hear the play by play commentary by the dude filming. Breaking down who kicked who in the face, who needs to be ejected, strategy tips such as “dude you don’t take a swing at somebody when they got a helmet on, grab em by the facemask and rip it off now children!”

Just a must-listen for anybody planning on jumping their opponent in a handshake line and starting a massive brawl featuring Goldberg-spear tackles and cleats to the eyeballs.
