Jonah Hill Canceled The Rest Of His Media Tour Because He Was 'Humiliated' By That French TV Show
THR – Oscar-nominee Jonah Hill has canceled French press for his new film War Dogs after being mocked on CanalPlus’ program Le Grand Journal.
[Hill] was said to be “humiliated” and canceled the rest of his press events in France to promote War Dogs.
Fleury issued a formal apology, saying that she felt like she knew Hill from seeing him on film for over a decade. “I really had the impression that I knew you,” she said. “I thought I was just messing around with a friend, but the reality is that we are not friends.”
She joked that he has two Oscar nominations and has worked with directors such as Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino, while she has only a kitchen sponge commercial on her resume.
COME ON JONAH FIGURE IT OUT. I’m not sure if I feel worse for him getting assed out by that French comedian lady now or like he’s being even more of a delusional puss about it. I do feel bad that he’s apparently so sad about getting burned like that on TV that he canceled the whole tour. But it’s also like….jesus dude, you’ve been famous for 10 years and you can’t be a big boy and promote your movie because someone acknowledged the very obvious fact that you’re not as sexy as DiCaprio or Brad Pitt? So soft, so so soft. If anything I’d go on every French show after that and just bash the comedian chick, hell have one of your funnier writer buddies give you some roast-quality burns and just bury her at every single stop in perfect French diction. Siphon off 1/1000th of your hot famous buddies’ mojo and your own success and get out there and fucking win Jonah. I don’t know why I’m life coaching guys way richer and more famous than I will ever be but now I just want to see the guy win.
Also bad job by everyone who said Jonah Hill “didn’t look butthurt at all” after the comedian chick buried him in that last blog. If you look at that Jonah Hill GIF above and don’t see the light leaving a man’s eyes as his ego is stomped on, I don’t know what to tell you. Seems like some of you need to learn a little something about the hollowing effects of soul crushing disappointment.
