The Browns Got Everything They Deserved With Johnny Football.

Let me start by saying anybody who doesn’t think all of Johnny Football’s partying and being an asshole was a deliberate act by him to force his way out of Cleveland is an idiot. Clearly he is doing this just as a giant FU to the Browns. To make sure they trade or cut him. Hell it wouldn’t surprise me if Jerry Jones was whispering in Johnny’s ear telling him what to do. How to ensure he ends up with the big star on his helmet next year.

I mean no organization and I mean no organization has mishandled a player more than the Cleveland Browns mishandled Johnny Football. They drafted him and then immediately tried to change him. They tried to contain him. They didn’t want him to party, they didn’t want him to scramble, they didn’t want him to live. They stuck him in the worst city in America and tried to make him a blue collar worker. They treated him like an infant from the second he was drafted. They forced him to go to rehab. They suspended him for making vines. They suspended him for smiling. They suspended him for leaving the pocket. They suspended him for showing up drunk to practice. They put shackles on him. They’d demote him to 3rd string just to prove a point. They started Josh McKown over him. Why the Browns ever drafted Johnny Football in the first place remains a mystery. It’s almost like they did it just to torture him. I still maintain that JFF will be a pro bowl QB. It’s almost like his career hasn’t even started. He was never given a fair shake in Cleveland. They only choice he was given was to party his way out of town and that’s exactly what he did. And I’m sure in 20 years just how the entire city laments how Bill Belichick slipped through their grasp they’ll lament how Johnny Football did too.
