Predicament: What is the most amount of money you would spend on a regular season baseball ticket?

This weekend is one of the biggest baseball weekends in Chicago, the Crosstown Classic. Cubs vs Sox on the southside Friday-Sunday. It's always a super rowdy crowd regardless of which stadium it's in and looks like an incredible time. I say looks like an incredible time because I have somehow never been to a Crosstown Classic game in my life.

The reason being? It is so damn expensive for a regular season baseball game I can't justify it. This Saturday night's game is currently sitting at $115 GET IN price and around $165 for a seat in the bleachers. In at least my eyes that is absolutely absurd when I put it in perspective that I could go to maybe five Cubs games for the price of that one ticket. But at the same time I feel that urge of FOMO to get out there and finally do it.

My usual rule of thumb for regular season baseball is I will not spend over $100 a ticket tops, and most of the time I'm spending under $50 a seat. The best time to go to baseball games is April/May (weather permitting always) and you can get some damn good deals and actually pretty solid seats.

Now if we're talking playoffs/very meaningful games or a special event night like a ring ceremony/number retirement? We can stretch the spend up through the roof, but I leave it to you guys… How much are you paying MAX for a regular season baseball game? Go Cubbies.
