Larry David's Reaction To The Cast Of Curb Your Enthusiasm Emotionally Thanking Him After The Final Scene Of The Show Was Peak Larry David

Bravo! Magnificent!!! Fucking PERFECT.

As someone that admittedly gets super attached to the shows he loves, I had a newly formed hole in my soul now that Curb is finally over and will no longer be the ultimate glue show for whatever monstrous lineup HBO is rolling out on Sunday night (I don't care if most people watch it on an app or that the app is called MAX. It's forever HBO to me, dammit. Especially on Sunday nights). Don't get me wrong, I'm forever grateful that Curb stuck around as long as it did, considering I wrote a blog EIGHT years ago celebrating that the show was coming back for its ninth season just because Larry David seemed like the kind of guy who would call it a series because he didn't want to deal with the big and little annoyances that come with pumping out a show, no matter how incredible it was.

However that clip following the final wrap of the series reminded me that Curb will forever live on in real life as long as Larry David is kicking because he is the show and the show is him. We won't see the ridiculously miniscule yet relatable things that piss him off or the unbelievable awkward interactions with people that make you want to crawl out of your skin. But it is comforting to know that they will be happening somewhere in the world, even if they aren't on our TV screens and JB Smoove won't be chiming in with some absurd quote.

Speaking of which, this also brightened my day after reading it.

Anyway, thanks to Larry David for a dozen seasons of awesomeness and shout out to Richard Lewis for always being a real one. Hearing that speech after he passed bummed me the hell out all over again. RIP.
