This Announcer's Call Of UCF's 4th Down Conversion Against Baylor Is An ELECTRIC FACTORY!

There’s a lot to unpack here. Baylor did end up winning this game. They completed an incredible comeback and knocked off UCF. But that’s not the story here. Obviously, you want to win the game. Congratulations to Baylor, but this play is one of the most insane plays in college football this season. We’re going to be talking about this one for a minute.

What's the point of NOT having a mobile quarterback? It creates such an advantage for you. Being able to get out of pocket and improvise is such a tool to have. Despite UCF coughing up this massive lead, this is one of the season's more impressive plays. As incredible of a play as it was, the announcer stole this moment. It's not the first time he's done this.

This announcer's name is Eric Collins. If the voice sounds familiar, you'll know him as being the play-by-play guy for the Charlotte Hornets. I don't pay a whole lot of attention to Charlotte Hornets basketball (or the NBA in general) but I recognize this voice. He is an excitable fellow, isn't he?

There's going to be a whole generation of announcers who are going to try to emulate Gus Johnson's energy. Most will fail, but this is one of those instances where I totally buy this guy's passion. This dude was losing his mind. I love that. I think it's infectious. Give me all the passion. It's what makes sports great.
