Ohio Got Absolutely Fucked In The Little League World Series And Our LLWS Guy Doesn't Even Care

Hold the fucking phone.....we called this game after 4 innings? The National Anthem singer hadn't even made it to her seats yet and they made the game official. Not just because of weather but because of CURFEW? And I don't need a bunch of Rule Book Dick Ryders to come into my mentions either. I don't care what the rule is, anyone with a working brain knows this is bullshit. You cannot call a meaningful baseball game after 4 innings due to curfew. This isn't some Tuesday night Rec league. It's the fucking Little League World Series. And the fact that Ohio jumped out to a 3-1 lead like thirty seconds before makes it even worse.
This was clearly going to be a back-and-forth game, and Mother Nature just decided to be a huge bitch at the one moment where California needed her to be. And I guess when Mother Nature, the dopey LLWS rules committee, AND Team California all work on the same side, yes, you're going to beat Ohio by 1 run. I feel so bad for the kids.
So obviously Ohio got screwed here, but I didn't want to blog this because I'm not the Little League World Series Guy. But then I saw that the Little League World Series guy doesn't even care!!!!

I like Rico Bosco, never had a problem with him, but you cannot be the LLWS guy with a take like this. And you certainly cannot be the integrity guy with a take like this. Tough break? The time is always right to do the right thing. You have to finish the game the next day. OR you have to realize what was coming on the radar and start and hour early. Literally so many solutions that everyone would've agreed to, but they chose to penalize the kids instead. I'd want my LLWS guy to go scorched earth here, not say, well rules are rules.

The fact of the matter is this is Ageism and Stateism. Would this happen at the College World Series? Would this happen in the MLB World Series? Would it happen if the roles were reversed and big bad California got screwed? No, no, and absolutely not.
Then WHY IS IT HAPPENING TO THE OHIO KIDS? What a fucking joke.
