Joel Embiid Is Officially And Finally The NBA MVP

Joel Hans Embiid. Legendary basketball talent. Incredible person. Larger than life figure. Professional troll.

And now NBA MVP.

It's official. JoJo joins AI (2001), Dr. J (1981), Moses Malone (1983) and Wilt (1966-1968) as the only Philadelphia 76ers to win the NBA's Most Valuable Player award. Many say it's 2+ years too late after finishing runner up to Jokic the previous two seasons, but whatever. Joel came, saw, and conquered this season from the jump. Look at some of the shit he's done this year:

MUCHOS GRACIAS SEÑOR EMBIID!!!

I have less than zero idea what "1.7 TAPONES POR JUEGO" means but I'm sure it's fantastic. A very well deserved MVP, indeed. Absolutely incredible for a man who didn't even pick up a basketball until his teenage years. Joel has been thru so much on and off the court since he's been in the league, too. Between the injuries, all the Ben Simmons/Process bullshit, and the tragedy of losing his brother, Embiid just kept his head down and kept on working to be the best. If you're not happy for him you at least gotta respect the man.

And say what you will about his durability, and people will say a lot, nobody can deny the outright God-like talent JoJo possesses on the basketball court. The dude does it all on both sides of the floor.

Now let's get that knee (somewhat?) right and finish The Process (starting Sunday, there's zero reason for Embiid to play on Wednesday after the Sixers stole Game 1 in The Garden). Sam Hinkie died so JoJo can live, dominate, and lead a parade down Broad St. Now do me a favor in honor of the MVP and CUE IT!
