Awesome Tradition Continues: Bengals Head Coach Zac Taylor Showed Up To A Local Bar At 12:30am To Deliver A Game Ball

I hate how awesome this tradition is. Zac Taylor started it last year, showing up at bars across the city to present them with a game ball after a playoff game. It's simple, but I love it. Go right from the stadium to a bar, while everyone is all jazzed up and going crazy just to drop off a ball and say like 30 seconds on the mic.

It's also just smart. The one thing I've learned in the 13 years I've lived here is this city can fucking drink. This city loves bars. Not to mention that it's cheap and the bars are fun - shocking, I know. Cincinnati is a very, very underrated drinking town. There's a little bit of everything too. But anyone who shits on Cincinnati these days I assume hasn't been here or hasn't been here for the lat 5-7 years.

Now, sure, celebrating a win like this over a backup QB at home can look weird. But who gives a shit? It's a playoff win. You need to beat whoever the hell you play and move on. I am annoyed to hear Bengals fans complain for a week about having to go to Buffalo and the NFL screwed them, but I won't say a bad thing about Zac Taylor celebrating like this. Again, it's quite literally win or your season is over.

I still can't believe Hubbard got that break for a touchdown. I don't know what juju changed here in Cincinnati but before last year that shit bounces the other way for a Ravens touchdown. No questions asked. Someone sold their soul for the Bengals, Joe Burrow and breaks like this.

So I don't care who you beat, Bengals. Keep going to bars. It's an awesome tradition.
