Aaron Boone Is Lobbying For Tonight's Game To Be Postponed So The Yankees Can Get Their Pitchers Rested

This is such bullshit.

I reported earlier today that insiders are saying the MLB is cheering for the Yankees tonight because all of the other marquee teams lost already, and I guess we're about to find out if it's true or not. Is the weather going to be great? No. Will we be able to get the game in if we want to? Yes, absolutely. 

Anyone that can read can see that the weather is clearly going to pass by about 9:00 pm. Blue clear skies after that. So let's play this game at 9:05 like we would if this were a regular season game. Let's not make any special accommodations because Aaron Boone is complaining. The fact of the matter is that the game is scheduled for tonight so they game should be played tonight. Aaron Boone doesn't give a shit about the weather. He gives a shit about resting Nestor Cortes and his bullpen another day. Tonight's game looks like a battle of bullpens, and the Yankees want NOTHING to do with that. So Aaron Boone is going to whine and complain, and I bet he gets his way. Terry Francona, on the other hand, wants to play.
