Tiering The Best Television Shows Since 2000 (And Where To Watch Them)

For this tiering, I only used live action shows that have a majority of their seasons aired past 2000. ALso, with every graphic, I will highlight 5 shows that I think more people should watch. Ones beyond the obvious for the most part. 

Some of you might be angry about the "Don't Love It But Respect It" tier, specifically Ozark fans. Look, there are certain TV shows and movies that I can objectively see are well made and I can respect the craft. That said, those same movies can just be not for me. It's like being served a world class piece of salmon when you just don't care for the taste of fish. 

if I had to pick 5 out of this group, it would be Fargo (Hulu), Oz (HBO Max), Arrested Development (Netflix), True Detective (HBO Max) and Vikings (Prime Video). 

'Always Good Watch" applies to shows that are dependable. You know what you're gonna get and can dive in on any episode in any season and not need the context to enjoy it. You can watch it going to sleep, when you don't have anything else to watch or situations like that. It might not be the best and it won't blow your doors off, but they care rock solid. Underappreciated, however, might blow your doors off and some of these do. 

While I think all of these deserve to be watched, I would highly recommend Banshee (HBO Max), Legion (Hulu), Wellington Paranormal (HBO Max), Justified (Hulu), and Mindhunter (Netflix)

Like the title suggests, these shows are too young to crown but are on the right track. I'm talkin ones that are appointment TV/binging for you when a new season drops. 

My 5 on this list would be The Righteous Gemstones (HBO Max), What We Do in the Shadows (Hulu), Severance (AppleTV+), Warrior (HBOMax) and obviously The Boys (Prime Video)

Now we get to the cream of the crop. To be in the elite category for me, you have to never have a noticible drop off in seasons and have a large sample size of greatness.
