Texas Kicker Snap Hooks 20-Yard Go-Ahead Field Goal Against Alabama Before Halftime In Classic Texas Fashion

Juuuuuuuust a little wide left there by Bert Auburn. Oh my lord. As if Quinn Ewers' injury wasn't bad enough, Texas Longhorn fans are being put through the emotional wringer. The defense pretty much shut down Alabama save for one long run, the offense is somehow keeping it together with Hudson Card at QB (largely thanks to Bijan Robinson) and here Texas was...about to take a 13-10 edge on the Crimson Tide at half.

Yeah the snap was low but Hudson Card got that ball down, and spun the laces to the side to give Auburn a clear boot at the fat part of the ball. The guy couldn't have pulled the shit out of that kick any more than he did

It really is unreal watching Alabama games. Not only do they outclass their opponents by a mile more often than not in terms of talent level, but they seem to get every bounce going their way. Referees finally thought it'd be cool to throw the laundry for pass interference penalties after blowing multiple calls earlier. Legitimately feels like the turf is tilted in Bama's favor and they're like an avalanche you can't stop.
