Do Cameras Need Enforcers? Apparently So After Brayden Schenn Beats The Everliving Piss Out Of One In The Penalty Box Last Night
I mean what the heck did that camera ever do to Brayden Schenn? Just got caught up in the wrong place at the wrong time. All of a sudden Brayden throws a little pissy fit, his wires cross, and he decides to just shatter the camera's.
Shit is expensive, Brayden. Bet you never thought about that. It's not like the NHL is rolling out here with a little $100 camcorder from Target. These things cost thousands and thousands of dollars. And Brayden Schenn is treating it like you treat your meat at 2am on a Sunday morning after striking out at the bar all night.
By the way, I've always wondered what is going through the minds of the penalty box attendants when guys have meltdowns like this in the box. I feel like anytime we have one of these moments, we should get an interview with the box attendant. Have to imagine it's a brutal position to be in. You don't want to make it obvious that you're taking notice of the meltdown just under the fear that they anger gets directed at you. But you also have to stay alert in there to make sure you don't take any ricochets.
Oh and by the way again, they really need to figure out a way to change the high sticking rule to not be a penalty if you hit a dude in the face with your stick but his face is only a foot off the ice.
