The Indiana Pacers Are Now Officially The Luckiest Team In The NBA

In the Pacer's 46 years as a franchise they have never had the #1 overall pick in the NBA draft. The Pacers have gotten the #2 overall pick THREE times in franchise history ...

1983 - Steve Stipanovich (6'11'' Center - Injured after 5 seasons)

1985 - Wayman Tisdale ( Power Forward - solid 12 year career - 4 with the Pacers)

1988 - Rick Smitz (Living Legend)

TONIGHT, the Indiana Pacers make franchise history. I'm confident this is our year because I finally have THE LUCKY SHOOT AROUND SHIRT on my side ...

My Grandpa is 90 years old and bored out of his mind. How does he pass the time? Painting his shoes (if you've listened to me talk about him before, you get it), BUT a normal activity he does to stay busy is shop at Goodwill. What an adventure. Last Christmas my grandpa may have pieced together an all time outfit - college kid on spring break selling pills.

What do the Pacers do when they get they first pick tonight? No Clue. What does Vibb's want? Idk if he's the #1 overall guy , but I've watched Jaden Ivey more than most of the top prospects, and he's an absolute weapon capable of making his own shot from anywhere. I'll admit it seem's too perfect - Indiana kid staying home, incredible talent, coaches kid with a huge basketball IQ.

I don't even care that Ivey went to Purdue, as long as he can help the Pacers win. Victor Oladipo had a great opportunity coming out of Indiana University to make Indiana HIS franchise. Oladipo bitched out on the city, so maybe it's a Boilermaker's turn for a chance? screams internally

I've enjoyed the rosters the Pacers have put together the last few seasons, but obviously it was more than injuries keeping the Pacers from winning the east. The Pacers need a super star, and tonight the Pacers will find him thanks to the lucky warm-up shirt.
