OH MY FUCKING GOD OH MY FUCKING GOD OH MY FUCKING GOD I DO NOT EVEN KNOW WHAT I AM TYPING RIGHT NOW!! THIS IS A PURE BLACKOUT ON EMOTION BLOG AND I'VE NEVER FELT SO ALIVE. THE CELTICS WERE DEAD UNTIL THEY WEREN'T. MARCUS SMART IS A GODDAMN HERO AND SHOULD BE TREATED AS SUCH. JAYSON TATUM HAS ARRIVED AND IS READY TO PUT THIS TEAM ON HIS BACK. THIS IS WHY WE NEVER GIVE UP HOPE. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'VE SAID SO PLEASE GIVE ME A MINUTE TO COMPOSE MYSELF.

OK. I'm calmed down. Holy fucking shit. What did we just witness? For a while there it looked like we were going to have to live through an epic 2021 Celtics collapse. Blowing that 15 point lead in only to see Kyrie make huge shot after huge shot in the fourth quarter was brutal. But they were GREAT at scoring quick out of that timeout to give themselves a 2 for 1, got the one stop they needed and then there was that final possesison. Just awesome decision making from everyone involved from White to Smart to Tatum. Nothing was rushed, nobody panicked. They executed when they needed to and boy does it feel fucking incredible.

So while Kyrie can tell people to suck his dick

or give the fans the bird

or mock them

at the end of the day all he can do is hold this L. Teams that win Game 1 go on to win the series about 76% of the time so yeah you could say this was pretty important. This team is NOT afraid of the Nets and sometimes the good guys win.

I love this team. I love Jayson Tatum. I love everything about life right now. We'll regroup more in the morning, but for right now?

LET'S FUCKING GO
