1. L.A. Confidential
Three detectives in the corrupt and brutal L.A. police force of the 1950s use differing methods to uncover a conspiracy behind the shotgun slayings of the patrons at an all-night diner.
It's always weird revisiting a Spacey joint, but god damn is this movie good. One of my favorite mystery/detective movies ever and easily one of the best movies of the 90's.
2. The Dropout
TV series that chronicles Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes' attempt to revolutionize the healthcare industry after dropping out of college and starting a technology company.

3. Atlanta S3
The series follows Earn (Donald Glover) during his daily life in Atlanta, Georgia, as he tries to redeem himself in the eyes of his ex-girlfriend Van (Zazie Beetz), who is also the mother of his daughter Lottie; as well as his parents and his cousin Alfred (Brian Tyree Henry), who raps under the stage name "Paper Boi".
Atlanta is one of the best shows running* right now. I use an asterisk because it has literally been 4 years since we got a new episode of it. Regardless, I can't wait to see the long-awaited return.

Years after a tragic shooting, the parents of both the victim and the perpetrator meet face-to-face.
5. The Insider
Tells the true story of a 60 Minutes television series exposé of the tobacco industry, as seen through the eyes of a real tobacco executive, Jeffrey Wigand.
