There Has Been Yet Another DEVASTATING Injury To Kentucky Basketball And I'm Officially Worried About The Title Now

[Source] - “I got my two [dogs]. One has a torn ACL. Have you ever heard of a dog having a torn ACL? Never heard of it. I was going to — I said, ‘Operate. I don’t care. Fix them.’ He said it’s too small. So we’re worried about that one. And then McGruff had surgery on his neck. I go home and walk them. I have a stroller. It’s like I’ve got two babies in a stroller walking my dogs carrying the poop bag.

First it was TyTy Washington then it was Sahvir Wheeler then it was Jacob Toppin then it was TyTy and Wheeler again. Now it's McGruff and Palmer, Coach Cal's dogs. When will the injuries stop? When will we finally be at full strength? I gotta admit these injuries concern me as much, if not more than TyTy and Wheeler. I can't imagine the stress Coach Cal is under. Gotta worry about prepping for LSU and Arkansas this week only to go home and load up his dogs in a stroller to walk them around. Brutal. I need his mind right. I need him to go home and have his dogs jumping all around and being excited.

The only other team that I've seen deal with injuries like this is Baylor. They desperately need LJ Cryer back for the Tournament, but that's for a different blog. They got their title last year. This is about me being concerned about my team. Anyone who has a dog would do the same thing as Cal too. Operate? He doesn't care. Fix them. Make them happy go lucky dogs again. The man loves a few things. Kentucky basketball, his dogs and TV shows about Alaska. We're a week or so away from March and I need all that focus on Kentucky basketball.

Hilarious to see Cal out there like a regular joe though. Dude is worth millions and still has to scurry into some grass to pick up dog poop. Nothing humbles you like knowing you gotta pick up your own dog's shit. Get McGruff and Palmer rehabbing with TyTy and Wheeler and let's go win a national title.
