A Defender On The New Zealand National Soccer Team Has A Hat Trick In The First Half Of The Match....But All 3 Goals Are Own Goals

First things first- Do you see that title I used? Gender is not a thing here. If it happened in a men's game, I would have used the same title. But some people are calling Barstool "trash" for tweeting the above. A very, VERY fair tweet. I mean, it's one of the most insane, wildest stats in sports history. Three...not one, not two, but THREE own goals in ONE HALF??? If you told me the record for most own goals in an entire career was three I'd be like "yeah, that makes sense". Three in one half? How much money does she have on this game? Again, not about gender whatsoever, but 100% about the insanity of it. "Awww, why is Barstool making fun of this poor girl?". Ummm, first of all, that tweet doesn't even make fun of her. But if it was a man, you better believe it would have been 100x more ruthless. So in a way, if we truly are about equality, we should fire whoever sent that tweet for not being meaner. Because 3 own goals in one half is simply preposterous. 

I have re-watched that goal 8 times and I'm almost positive she kicked it in on purpose. There is a strong kicking motion there. Very strong.

People are mad at us? I'm mad at her! I want this chick investigated! 

So in conclusion, if you're mad at Barstool for that tweet, you're the sexist, not us. And Meikayla Moore, try shooting on the other goal.
