The Stafford Family Will Be Paying The Medical Bills Of The Photographer Who Fell Off The Stage And Fractured Her Spine At The Super Bowl Parade

In case you missed it, a photographer named Kelly Smiley fell off the stage at the Rams Super Bowl parade and fractured her spine. the Internet jumped down Matt Stafford's neck because he walked the other way, in an all-time bad optics moment. As I wrote in the blog linked above, he was drunk and is certainly not a doctor, but his reaction to dart in the other way obviously was probably not the optimal move.

But the Staffords aren't assholes and even though Matt really didn't do anything wrong (I mean, he probably should have at least asked if she was okay, but I don't know, he was 15 beers deep, so whatever), he will be paying her medical bills:

So now we can put an end to this saga. Hopefully Kelly makes a full recovery, but it's nice that the Staffords will be there with her the entire time.
