Forecaster Frank's Lessons From Week 1
Week 1 is in the books, and my first week's picks left much to be desired. I posted a record of 7-9, making a strong comeback in the late games after making some horrendous picks in the games played on Sunday at 1.

We learned that Dak Prescott has recovered from his broken leg, and the Cowboys have a strong offense. However, the Cowboys learned not to leave too much time for Tom Brady to get down the field for a winning field goal.

The Falcons are terrible, and Matty Ice has become Matty Dumpster Fire as the former MVP's early red-zone struggles set the tone for the game.

The Bills were in control early, but the Steelers' defense is the real deal as they kept the team in the game. Eventually, the Bills' defense tired, allowing Pittsburgh to awaken and win the game.

Zach Wilson may be a good quarterback, but the Jets do not have anyone around him that can play. The Panthers are a flawed team that will not win that many games.

Joe Burrow is a winner, whom the Bengals could destroy, as he got Cincinnati an overtime win. Kirk Cousins is terrible, and the Vikings are in trouble.

The 49ers looked strong as Trey Lance had a touchdown on his first NFL throw. However, the Lions did not quit and nearly made things interesting as San Francisco was sloppy late for the backdoor cover.

So much for the Texans going 0-17, as the Jaguars losing streak is now 16, having gone 1-15 after a win in Week 1, as Trevor Lawrence looked shaky in his NFL debut.

I nailed this one as the Colts continued their feeble ways in Week 1. The Seahawks continued to be the Seahawks, with Russell Wilson have a strong start.

I expected a close game, and it was. Everything changed for Washington when Ryan Fitzpatrick left the game with a hip injury. Now the Football Team needs Taylor Heinicke can carry them for the next two months.

Nailed it, as the Patriots got a good game from Mac Jones, but the Dolphins stole the game with strong coaching and a defense that did not break and forced two turnovers.

Jameis Winston looks like a new man, as he had five touchdowns and looks prepared for a big season. Aaron Rodgers looked disinterested as the Packers did not show up in Jacksonville.

Daniel Jones is awful, and the Giants will not succeed until they learn what the rest of us learned two years ago. The Broncos' defense is strong, and they could make hay if they were not in an impossible division.

The Ravens' secondary to a hit on Thursday with Marcus Peters tearing his ACL. They could have used him in the final minute as the Raiders gashed them to force overtime and did the same in overtime to win the game.
