The San Antonio Spurs Have Signed A Partnership With A Mobile Gaming Organization

Okay, let me break this down for you guys. Tribe Gaming was started by "Chief Pat" in 2017 and has been taking the mobile esports world by storm. At the end of this blog, I'll link some previous posts I've written on the behemoth that is mobile gaming. *Sneak peak, it's A LOT bigger than you think*

Chief Pat began creating content in 2012 when Clash of Clans was THE GAME to play and he's been making mobile gaming related content ever since. Truly a niche category where you expect most gaming content creators to be making videos on Call of Duty, Fortnite, etc. However, Chief Pat is a mobile gaming extraordinaire through and through. He would make videos on strategies for attacking and defending your Town Hall in Clash of Clans.

For those that don't know, I absolutely love Clash of Clans. It's the best mobile game of all time, HANDS DOWN.

After Clash of Clans began fading, Chief Pat began making content around Clash Royale, Boom Beach and Brawl Stars. He's been the face of mobile gaming for quite some time and today, he struck a massive partnership.

Earlier today, Tribe Gaming announced their formal partnership with the San Antonio Spurs. Was this a long time coming? The Spurs have been gaming since before it was cool.

22 years later after that 1999 finals, the Spurs have come full circle in their gaming journey and signed a gaming organization. Watch this video below to hear Chief Pat break down their partnership.

Fortnite was one of the first major video games to take their game onto the mobile platform. Ever since, Call of Duty, Valorant and many others have followed suit. On top of major comes to mobile platforms, we have the PSP 2.0 dropping soon as well. Mobile Gaming is in a really interesting spot to truly take gaming to the next level. Games such as Clash Royale and Clash of Clans brought mobile gaming into the competitive gaming spotlight and there's no stopping in sight.

Larger franchise games are beginning to understand the importance of having a mobile presence. Hardcore esports game League of Legends recently released a mobile game known as "Wild Rift" which is meant to introduce casual gamers to the League of Legends landscape.

I don't want to get too in-depth on League at this time, but I want you to understand the importance of mobile gaming in the entire gaming ecosystem. It's very similar to having pee-wee football leagues or Little Leagues. At the end of the day, they help #GrowTheGame like Brandon Walker in Omaha.

This is another huge step for the gaming world, huge shoutout to Tribe Gaming on their partnership with the Spurs.
