Fake Report About Ben Simmons Refusing To Answer Sixers Calls Is So Believable It Hurts

Just when you think the Ben Simmons and Sixers drama couldn't get any more fun, this little fun report got legs on these series of tubes this morning:

See? Not embarrassing. I think. I mean, the fact it was SO believable that the Sixers had to come out and say they indeed have been in contact. On his birthday. PROOF: 

Ignore the fact that talking to him last 6 days ago on his birthday seems a little high school relationship-y. I guess forget about the Sixers insinuating they'd be extremely involved in the PG's workout regime this offseason. Simmons has obviously been trusted he can do what needs to be done to improve on his own, right? Besides that, nobody is going to defend Ben Simmons at this point, especially in Philly. It’s kinda a shame cause people are gonna read the first report, rail him, and keep making it a talking point even though it’s not true. The second it dropped 97.5 was bashing all over the place. 

Whatever. By all accounts Simmons is done here in Philly, even if it takes up to the pre-season for Daryl to work his magic:
