Texas' Athletic Director Was Taking Jell-O Shots With Fans After the Longhorns Advanced to the College World Series

College baseball is the best party in the country right now — unless you're an Arkansas fan. If you aren't following the Road to Omaha, you're missing one hell of a time, on the field and off. That's particularly the case in Austin, where Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte was taking Jell-O shots with fans after the Longhorns beat South Florida to advance to the College World Series.

The next time somebody tries to tell me how much better pro sports are than college because the skill level is higher or whatever other nonsense they say, I'm just going to show them this video. Y'all can enjoy your supposedly superior game, but find me an NFL owner who's in the parking lot after a game shooting back Jell-O with the fans. There is no better atmosphere — for anything, really — than big-time college sports.

Also, any government employee making more than $500,000 a year should be required to consume alcohol with taxpayers once per year. It can be at any time each one of said employees chooses, but in every calendar year, you have to take shots with the people paying your salary. And if you're doing a shitty job as an AD or football coach or whatever else, you have to take one night out of the year where those people can let you hear about it. That seems fair for everybody.
