Stanley Cup Champion Tom Wilson Should Be In The Running For The Lady Byng For His Tremendous Sportsmanship

That's just class right there. You can't teach that in the gym or by skating the lines. That's just who SCC Tom Wilson is. A leader on and off the ice. A man of class and sportsmanship. Sure he plays hard, but is always the first to reach out to make sure his opponents are okay. He knows some things are just bigger than sports. A role model through and through. Which is why he should be in the running for the Lady Byng, which is "presented each year to the National Hockey League player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability". 

Name someone else who deserves it more, you can't. Willy plays hard and hits hard, but he is a gentleman above all else. And the high standard of playing ability is obvious, I mean even his peers call him the greatest goal scorer in the leage

I don't know if he'll win it this year, but he should at the very least be in the running. Anything else would be a mockery of the entire system.
