Taylor Swift Is So Popular That Even Jerry Thornton Is Stealing Blogs About Her
Yes, you heard that right. I submitted the blog below around 12:15, and it was scheduled right away to come out at 1:20. Not a long blog, a quick acknowledgement as I am the new self proclaimed President of the Swifties On The Barstool Website. I checked the backend at 1:15, getting ready to push it out to my socials where the real Taylor fans live. What did I find?

Jerry Thornton? I don't know him at all. I have a vague memory of being in the office at the same time as him once, and I've heard stories that he used to get wild at early Barstool parties. Other than that, I know he's an OG Barstool guy, a Patriots guy, a Boston guy, sports sports sports through and through.
So why, I ask, did he take this Taylor Swift blog from me? Maybe he didn't look at what had already been written? Ignoring the fact that the story had been out for hours, and my blog scheduled to go for at least 45 minutes, I can't think of any reason to take the topic, blog about it, and publish it ahead of me. He states right away that he's not an expert, or a Swiftie. He makes a few good points, praises Taylor for being the mega-influencer that she is and tells Netflix to pack it up. Nothing really to write home about. No "big speech" message about cancel culture, or anything but reiterating the facts in a long-winded way. I have to assume it was to amass clicks, which, he is doing! It's been top of the blogs for a while now! But I want it to be clear - they are stolen clicks. Barstool SPORTS Jerry Thornton couldn't resist the pageviews, and in his bloodlust to become #1 of the day, he pushed me right off the side of the canyon. They were so important to him that he resorted to theft and deceit. You hate to see it.

This happens a lot. Clem actually did it last week with a Nicholas Braun/Kim Kardashian blog, but I let it slide. The only thing I missed out on with that, was my chance to beg Nicholas Braun to be my boyfriend. Fucked up to get cockblocked like that, but I guess that's showbiz.

Taylor Swift Hates The Netflix Show 'Ginny And Georgia' For Making A Bad Joke About Her
Alright. Taylor is obviously our Queen, and I follow her blindly into most battles. But this one? The shitty Netflix show Ginny and Georgia (it does actually suck) made a joke about how Taylor Swift goes through men quickly. Taylor says this is a lazy and sexist joke. It is, but what I'm wondering…why is Taylor even wasting time on this? Literally no one cares about this show. I didn't even watch enough of it to see this line. Don't worry about these small people, Tay. They can make their stupid jokes and try to get a chuckle at your expense, but you're better than letting this trash bother you. I guess when when you're a celebrity, and you want to cuddle up with your hot boyfriend Joe Alwyn and binge a few episodes of a Netflix show, and in that show, they start calling you out for all the guys you dated? That would piss me off too. I think we can all acknowledge this as Twitter Fingers, and move on.
