Wild Video Of A Dude In Brooklyn Lighting Off A FLAMETHROWER On Top Of A Bus As Crowds Of People Cheer Him On

Source - A hot head with a flamethrower hopped on top of a city bus in Brooklyn and torched the air above as onlookers filmed and cheered — sparking outrage at the MTA and among police unions who say the bizarre display is the latest sign of urban decay.

The wild incident unfolded around 5:30 p.m. Nov. 8 on Putnam Avenue at the intersection with Franklin Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, the MTA confirmed.

Videos posted to social media show an unknown man on top of an ice cream truck before leaping to the roof of the B26 bus that had stopped at the intersection. The man then fires off the flamethrower — as a crowd cheers, the videos show.

The NYPD said it was investigating the incident after the Sergeants Benevolent Association tweeted out a video of the incident.

Will someone please explain to me what the hell is going on? Seriously. Are there no rules in New York City anymore? This was Queens yesterday...

Two days before that cops broke up a 200-person fight club in Bronx. I walk to work and the streets are empty. I leave work and the streets are empty. This city, whether you like it or not, is a completely different place than was last spring before COVID hit. I'm not saying things won't get back to normal, I'm just saying that when you see stuff like this...

It makes you start to wonder how long it's going to take it. The craziest part of that video wasn't even the flame-throwing either, it was the fact that people were cheering him on. Everyone took their cell phones out and acted like a man using a WWI-style war weapon in the middle of the street was completely normal. The guy in the ice cream truck didn't even flinch!

Then he walked to the back of the bus and started spraying the street…

It's lunacy. What's even crazier is that the MTA and police unions are blaming it on "urban decay." Urban decay!

Apparently the guy doing the flame-throwing was a local rapper paying tribute to Wu-Tang even though both the MTA and City Hall said there were no permits for the shoot…

The stunt was part of a Wu-Tang tribute music video by local rapper Dupree G.O.D., according to his social media.

“’Wutang’ music video shoot was insane. It was a movie. It was f–king epic,” the relatively unknown rapper wrote on Instagram.
“Much everyone to all who came out (sic). We shut Franklin Avenue Down. With amazing energy. We are in this together. We The ILLest. Video coming,” he added.

Several members of the classic rap group did not return requests for comment.

MTA and City Hall confirmed there were no permits for the shoot.

The whole thing is a shit show. Get it together, New York. You're embarrassing yourself.
