It's Getting Dusty In Here Watching Kentucky Honor John Schlarman By Leaving His Position Open On The First Play Of The Game

You're right, I'm 100% crying here. John Schlarman, Kentucky's offensive line coach passed away this week after battling stage 4 of a rare cancer. He battled it for a couple years actually, refusing to take time off work, showing up for practices and games and even throwing up on the sidelines because of the treatment. He was beloved by everyone around the program, being an offensive lineman during his playing days before helping turn the Kentucky OL into one of the best in the country. This is beautifully done by both teams. Kentucky leaving his spot open before Landon Young checked in wearing Schlarman's jersey. Credit to Vandy for denying the penalty as well.
