Checking In On The Rockets - They All Apparently Fucking Hate The Team And We Got An All-Time James Harden Blaming Failure On Austin Rivers Story

We all saw this report last night. Yeah, it's a major story and we're going to see Russ end up on another team after the Rockets traded everything for him. But my favorite part isn't that mayhem. Oh no. It's the shit storm of tweets that came after where we find out that Rockets all fucking hate each other.

First, we have the Russ side of things:

Okay, that makes sense but what the hell did he expect when he got traded to Houston? We knew their offense. It's ISO ball for Harden, spread out the floor with shooters and attack. Did Russ think he was going to be playmaker 1 the entire time? But really it goes back to the accountability and culture more than anything else. Tillman Fertitta, the owner of the Rockets, is one of the worst owners in the league in his few short years. He's pretty much hated by everyone, makes some horrible decisions and it's pretty much known he's going to run the Rockets into the ground. So it starts there.

Now you might think - oh that's just Russ being a crybaby. Does he look like he's crying to you?

Weird choice to go with Katy Perry, I'd go Taylor here, but that's just me. Anywho, then there's Eric Gordon, arguably the 3rd best player on the Rockets.

Oh you mean Eric Gordon didn't like just standing there waiting to get a pass from James Harden? Shocking! And then there's Danuel House

Okay now we have him calling out names and the first time we had Russ involved here. But what the fuck did we expect when you put Harden and Westbrook together? They are two ball dominant guards that want to attack and look to score first. Of course people are going to be pissed and hate their role. At the same time, it's hard to say it wasn't successful to a degree when the Rockets were always in position to make a run in the playoffs before Harden choked every year.

But this is it. This is my favorite blame story ever.

That's so perfect. An all-time blame/spin zone story. James Harden just losing his shit because Austin Rivers existed. What exactly did Harden think here? Dudes stand by the bench all the time. You walk over and talk to a coach and how did that distract Harden? Feel like this is more just pick on Austin Rivers than anything.

So now here we are, a week before the Draft and a little over a week before free agency. The Rockets are completely falling apart and it's hilarious. We got a star getting traded. We got everyone hating a team and playing with another star. It's the best reality show on TV.
