The Cast Of Olivia Wilde's New Utopian Community Movie Is Shaping Up Real Nice

Nick Kroll, Sydney Chandler, Douglas Smith, Kate Berlant, and Asif Ali have rounded out the cast of the New Line thriller Don’t Worry Darling that Olivia Wilde is directing. They join Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pine, KiKi Layne and Gemma Chan with Wilde also having a supporting role in the film.

Although little is known about the movie’s plot, Don’t Worry Darling is set in an isolated, utopian community in the 1950s California desert. Katie Silberman wrote the screenplay based on a spec script by Shane and Carey Van Dyke.

I don't want to reiterate too much from the previous blog, so I'll just note that I still think this has fantastic potential. Beyond the great cast that is already attached, Olivia Wilde had a great rookie effort in 'Booksmart'.

Friend of the program Nick Kroll is an extremely funny dude. 'Big Mouth' is one of the funnier animated series' to come out in recent memory, and he obviously has a ton of notoriety from The League and his other John Delany duo project, The Oh Hello Show. One time I was walking down Broadway to get to good ole Baruch college, I heard his voice and instantly recognized it. I perked up and saw him walking down the street in front of me, and I immediately asked for a selfie. He said "Uhhhh sure, but only if you do it while walking". "Oh, nevermind" I said "I gotta get to class anyway". Did I just smell bad or something? I need to know, NIck!

Outside of Kroll, I don't know a ton about the other 3. Kate Berlant I recognize from I Think You Should Leave which she was very funny in/ Douglas Smith was in 'The Bye Bye Man', one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Asif Ali is a stand-up vet and Sydney Chandler is the daughter of Coach Taylor himself, Kyle Chandler.
