What's The Reasonable Thing To Do When Someone Takes Your Parking Spot? Man Proves That Taking Out Your Speargun Is Not The Best Option.

Why do people feel the need to get so angry about parking spaces? The whole "you took my spot I'm mad grrr" thing never made sense to me. Like just find another parking spot asshole. After all, it is a parking lot, filled with... parking spaces. Such fucking hardos.

I'm just not one for confrontation. If someone really got in my face over a parking spot, I'd fold like a lawn chair. Everyone wants to try and be the hero and stand up to the big bad bully - not allowing him to get the spot. Not this guy. That spot would belong to the aggressor quicker than you can say 'beta male'.

SEASIDE PARK — An argument over a parking spot lead to a man's arrest after he pulled a speargun from the trunk of his vehicle and pointed it at other people near the Beach Tacos restaurant, Seaside Park Police Patrolman Andrew Casole said.

Bradley Rodriguez, 37, was arrested after he took the speargun out of his vehicle, loaded it and "pointed it in a threatening manner" at the people he was arguing on Aug. 20, Casole said. Rodriguez's town of residence was not immediately available on Sunday.

sidenote - what is his town of residence supposed to say? "We're sorry that some guy went rampage mode and pointed a spear in your face"?

Now, this. This is a different story. Not only would I hand over the spot, but he can just keep the car. Here, have the keys, Mr. Speargun. I don't need it anyways. Of all things you could expect this guy to pull out of his car during a fucking parking space dispute; a spear gun has to be at the bottom of that list. It's an absolutely unbelievable move.

Had he come out of his car with a baseball bat - or another item that could be used to bludgeon someone - it would be one thing. That's typical 'tough guy' behavior which is far easier to diffuse. However, when he reaches into his vehicle to reveal that he owns a speargun, it's curtains. That's when this guy goes from being a hardo to a complete and utter psychopath that no other human wants any part of.

It just feels like getting arrested over a parking spot at Beach Tacos is a bit excessive. A verbal spar would be fine, perhaps a few name callings but that's about it. Getting arrested because you pulled out a gun used to kill fish and pointed it at people? Couldn't be me. The whole crux of this man's argument depends on one thing; did he get to the spot first? Based on the fact that this bastard was willing to get ARRESTED over this dispute, you'd have to imagine that speargun man got there first, no? What other reason would he pull the speargun out for? That's the only explanation.

Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say "I'm a lunatic". Our friend mad man Bradley here will have plenty of time to look himself in the mirror in jail. It'll also give him a solid amount of time to wonder "was this worth it?". Personally, if I was to go to jail I'd want it to be for something cool. High-level money laundering, robbing a bank, assassinating a world leader, etc etc. Whatever it is, it would have to be worth it. Getting thrown in the clink because you can't control yourself and feel the need to threaten someone over a parking spot is NOT worth it.

PS - this whole thing just reminds me of Johnny Drama getting into it with Chuck Lidell over a parking spot.

Classic.
