Niklas Kronwall Just Killed A Man

Mondays suck. They hit you like a ton of bricks and never get any better. However, Nikita Kucherov found a way for his Monday to get even worse by getting Kronwalled into the next century. Now he didn’t actually die as a result of this hit, and even if he did I’m sure they would just classify it as an upper-body injury, but I’m just going to go ahead and assume Kucherov is a dead person. They call it getting Kronwalled for a reason. He’s made a living brutally murdering people out there just like this and it never gets old. There was no penalty called on the play but you gotta imagine that he’ll be getting that phone call from the DoPS tomorrow. Left his feet, targeted the head, etc. Don’t get me wrong, that was an A+ hit and is what the game is all about. But in today’s league, yeah, he might be sitting one out.

Lightning currently up 3-2 after getting up 3-0 to start. If they don’t force a Game 7 I will Kronwall myself.
