Tottenham Players Had To Be Separated From Fighting Each Other On The Field During A Game, Manager Calls The Fight 'Beautiful'

Now this is what I'm talking about. Everyone here is right too and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Spurs fan. Sometimes you need to fight with your teammates, ever hear of Michael Jordan? Shit, Tottenham is coming off an embarrassing 3-1 loss to Sheffield United so you know they are pissed. I don't care if it's a 'bad look' to have to be separated from your teammate on the field, I love that Jose Mourinho calls it beautiful. I love the explanation of it. I love Huge Lloris talking about how it happens all the time and they are fine. Because that's what teams do!

I'm fired up re-watching this. Now the reason for the fight is Lloris thought Son gave up and wasn't pressuring enough late in the first half, causing some missed chances. He took action and gave him a piece of his mind. I have zero problem with that! Again, sometimes you just need to fight with teammates or friends. Think about all the times you've just wanted to or you have punched a friend. You take 10 minutes and then crack a beer and all is good. This is just the professional sports version of that.

They even won. That's all that matters. Who cares if it was a weird deflected goal, 3 points is 3 points. Obviously you don't want this to carry over and be a talking point every damn match, but I'm all for fighting with a teammate. If they aren't living up to expectations after a team meeting, don't be afraid to go at them. Personally I wish the guys didn't hold them back. Would have been way better to see Lloris and Son really go at each other.
